When I met up with Taylor, she was having a wonderful time with her bridesmaids. They all had cute matching robes on which made for great pictures. Taylor's wedding dress was beautiful! She looked perfect in it. Her mom was there to help her with the dress and veil. We went outside so Taylor could see her dad for the first time. It was such a wonderful moment. These were some of my favorite pictures from their day! We finished the bridesmaid pictures and the groomsmen pictures before the ceremony started.
Taylor was walked down the aisle by her dad and the smile on Tyler's face when he first saw his bride was so sweet. They shared many laughs during the ceremony. I loved that about these two. I can tell they have so much fun together and that was shown throughout their whole day! After the ceremony we captured pictures of the bridal party and family. We decided to walk out to an open field with wildflowers for pictures of the two of them. It was a beautiful location! The sun was starting to set so those pictures had a nice golden glow about them.
Their guests enjoyed dinner while they were introduced in to the reception site. Taylor wore the cutest jean jacket with Mrs. Roush on the back over her wedding dress. Their best man and maid of honor shared great stories about Tyler and Taylor. After dinner the dancing started. One of my favorite parts from the reception was Taylor dancing with her dad. They started with a slow song that cut into Gangman Style. It was so fun!! The whole place was clapping along. It was such a wonderful reception. The whole day was absolutely perfect! Enjoy the many many pictures from their day!
I wish you both many many years of happiness together!

]]>Megan had her day all planned out. When I showed up she was finishing her makeup. Shortly after, she put on her dress. Her mom helped her and the lighting from the round window was absolutely breathtaking! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! After Megan was in her beautiful dress she did a reveal with her bridesmaids. They all were so happy for her and talked of how beautiful she looked in her dress!
When I met with Megan and her mom to talk over the wedding day a few months ago, we talked about lighting. In December the sun sets very early in the day (5:30ish). We knew if her and Nathan wanted some good pictures outside together they would have to see each other before the ceremony. They were completely on board with doing a reveal before the ceremony. I am so glad they did! Their pictures together at Plum Creek Golf Club were perfect! This venue was made for a December wedding! There are really neat black lanterns outside where we took pictures on the deck that added to the Christmas feel!
After pictures at the golf club the bridal party headed in to their limo to drive to the church! At the church we finished getting some family pictures before the ceremony started. Megan was so beautiful walking down the aisle at the church! The church had poinsettias lining the sanctuary and a big Christmas tree as well. It made for a gorgeous ceremony! After they said I do and were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Hahn, their guests waved glow sticks as they exited the church! It was so fun!
Everyone was having a blast at the reception! My favorite part from the reception was of Megan's niece singing to baby shark for everyone! It was so cute!! Nathan and Megan's first dance was so sweet! He had her twirling on the dance floor. After the cake cutting the dance floor opened! They had all their guest come out to the dance floor for a big group picture. Many stuck around to start dancing afterward!
What a fun and beautiful day it was! Nathan and Megan have done a lot the past month including buying their first house! I'm so excited for them and excited to share so many amazing pictures from their wedding day! Enjoy!!
I wish you both many many wonderful years (and Christmases) together!

]]>I met up with Natalie and her bridesmaids at the church. They were all getting the last of their hair and make-up finish. I loved the robes Natalie picked for them! After all the bridesmaids had their dresses on, they headed into the hallway to wait for Natalie. One of my favorite pictures from the day was of Natalie holding her wedding dress before she put it on. Natalie and her mom enjoyed the moments just the two of them while Natalie put on her wedding dress. Natalie wanted to do a first look with all her bridesmaids. This picture was also a favorite of mine (let's be honest there were a ton of favorites and the reason this blog post is extra long haha). Her bridesmaids were all smiling and a few were crying after seeing Natalie in her beautiful wedding dress. It was a wonderful moment from their day!
After her bridesmaids saw her, she walked down to the sanctuary for her first look with her dad. What I loved most about their day was the importance of their family. Natalie and her parents had a moment just the three of them and they shared such sweet words together.
It was then time for Natalie to have her first look with Gabriel. He was in the courtyard waiting for her. During the first look, I loved seeing the look on their faces and the craziness of the morning just melt away. They were talking and laughing while I captured it all. At one point Gabriel turned toward me and asked if they should be posing haha. They were so into the moment together. Those are the pictures I love to capture most!
During their ceremony they had both of their fathers share advice and share their love for them. It is wonderful to see a couple come from wonderful loving homes with lasting marriages. The vows they wrote to each other were so heartfelt. I will always remember the ending to Gabriel's vows to Natalie. He said he was looking forward to spending life with her here on Earth and for eternity in Heaven as well! They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and everyone cheered! They left the church with a bubble send off!
When we got to Woodland Country Club we took some more pictures of the bride and groom. These pictures were beautiful! What a gorgeous fall evening! They got announced at the reception and shared their first dance. I loved hearing each family's speeches. There were many family members who traveled far for this wedding. It meant a lot to the families and the couple. The dancing started and the whole floor was filled with their guests. What a perfect ending to their perfect day! Enjoy many pictures from their wedding!
I wish you both many many years of happiness together!

]]>I met up with Erika and her bridesmaids at The Whittaker Inn. Erika was telling me all about this inn before the wedding. It is such a beautiful setting and I loved all the Purdue and Indiana decorations. She was getting her hair done when I arrived. I loved when it was finished because everyone was saying how great it looked and she was just beaming! Some of my favorite pictures were of Erika and her Momma getting Erika in to her wedding dress. Erika was holding back tears when she was finally in her dress. She looked absolutely beautiful! Her dress was gorgeous!
After she was all ready we headed over for her first look with Corey out on the 50 yard line of Ross Ade Stadium. It was the coolest thing I have done on a wedding day! Corey had one request about their first look. He wanted to turn around and watch her walk toward him. I loved this! It was as though she was walking down the aisle to him. They had quite a few laughs together during the first look. Before Corey even saw her in her wedding dress, he had described what he thought it would look like. Erika said he literally described the dress she had bought without seeing it! That is a man who knows his bride! I loved this story! After their first look, the bridal party came on to the field for pictures. They all were having a great time together!
We then went to the Purdue campus to take some more pictures. It was a Friday wedding so there were many students out walking in between classes. People were congratulating the bride and groom. It was so fun! After we took some more pictures we headed over to the ceremony site at Kossouth Street Baptist Church. It was a beautiful ceremony. I loved that they added in a worship song to their ceremony and had a bubble send off at the end!
Their reception was held at Ross Ade Stadium. They had so many guests who enjoyed the evening with them. They had a pasta bar! Who doesn't love that!? It was a perfect day! Enjoy the many pictures from their wedding day!
Congrats again you two! I wish you many many happy years together!!

I met up with Jennifer and her family at her house. It is such a cute house and perfect for getting ready pictures. One of my favorite pictures I captured was of her dress hanging in front of the many games Blake and Jennifer love playing together! Jennifer's wedding dress was a short dress. It was perfect on her!
After she was done getting ready, Blake stood in front of their front door waiting to see his bride for their first look. Blake is so sweet and shed many tears throughout the day. This was one of those moments after he saw his beautiful bride! After they saw each other we took their bikes over to a small greenway that they like to ride the bikes on. We took pictures with their bikes and they were so fun!
Their ceremony was beautiful. Blake couldn't hold back tears as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. They each wrote their own vows to each other. My favorite part about their ceremony was when they passed around the rings for all their guests to bless before they exchanged them!
After the ceremony, we headed over to the reception! I loved the bar they picked! Their guests enjoyed dinner and drinks. Blake and Jennifer learned a dance for their first dance. It was so fun for everyone to watch as they twirled around on the dance floor. It was such a great day! Enjoy many more pictures from the day below!
I wish you two many many years of happiness together!

]]> Their ceremony was perfect. Ally's uncle talked about how Kyle and Ally met way back in their school years. It had their guests laughing! Right after the ceremony we took pictures for the families, the bridal party, and of course Kyle and Ally. Ally's wedding dress was stunning. I loved the pictures we got of the back of it with Kyle standing by her. It was like the dress was made just for her! After pictures everyone headed into the tent for dinner. I loved hearing the toasts from the best man and the maid of honor. Ally and her Dad shared tears as they danced their father/daughter dance. Then Kyle and his mom shared their mother/son dance with laughs together. It was such a beautiful day! Enjoy many pictures of their day below!
I wish you both many years of love and laughter!
<3 Emily O.
]]>They had a special moment of reading letters to each other behind the ceremony door instead of seeing each other before the ceremony. It was amazing to watch each of their reactions to the letters they wrote. Ryan shed tears when he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. I loved how these two also wrote their own vows that they read during the ceremony to each other. Brooke decided she wanted to do a bubble send off right after the ceremony. We decided to have this happen as they walked back down the aisle to start family pictures. It was so fun! All their guests enjoyed being apart of that fun "send off" to the reception. After the bubble send off, we took family pictures. It started to rain a little right at the end of the pictures. We used a clear umbrella for pictures of the two of them. These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! After pictures, the reception started! I loved that Ryan and Brooke laughed so much together throughout the day and the reception was full of laughter and dancing. It made for such a fun time with all their guests! Enjoy many many more pictures from their beautiful day below!
I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!! I am so happy I got to capture this day for you!
<3 Emily O.
]]>Catherine's wedding dress was just perfect for her. I love that she wore a purple sash to match the bridesmaid's dresses. She looked so beautiful! After the ladies were ready they headed over to the church. I met up with the groomsmen for some pictures. They were having a great time!
The ceremony was so sweet! There were a few laughs throughout which you can tell it totally them! After the ceremony we took some pictures with their family. I literally laughed throughout taking pictures. It made the pictures so enjoyable for everyone! I loved how much fun everyone was having!
Their reception was at Arborwood in Frankfort. It never disappoints! The flowers outside were beautiful and the food was amazing! They picked cupcakes that had different jelly fillings! They were amazing!! Everyone enjoyed dancing and having a great time! What a great day it was! Enjoy many more pictures from their day!
I wish you both many amazing years together and many many more laughs!

]]>Ryan and Joan had a beautiful July day for a wedding! After a week of 90s, it barely hit 80 on their wedding. They had their ceremony and reception at Signature Banquets in Lowell, Indiana. It was a big venue with plenty of room for their many family and friends! I met up with Joan as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. They all were having a blast together. Joan put on her dress with the help of her mother. Her dress was one of the most beautiful wedding dresses I have seen! It was so happy Ryan and Joan saw each other before their ceremony. It was such a sweet moment! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day! They each got a little teary eyed. We took some pictures inside with their families and friends before the ceremony started. During their ceremony Ryan's brother faked out the couple by giving them super huge fake ring instead of the actual ring. The entire room was cracking up! It was so fun! At the end of the ceremony they sharing in joining sand as they joined their new family with the two kids. It was so sweet!
I loved all the details that went in to the decorations on the tables and throughout the venue! They had a popcorn bar featuring a ton of different types of popcorn! It was so good and a huge hit at the reception! The couple started by cutting the cake. After a delicious dinner they played the shoe game. It is always fun to watch! They went into their first dance and special dances. Then the dance floor was packed with everyone dancing. It was such a great day! Enjoy the many pictures from their day!
I wish you both many many years of happiness!

]]>Ben and Cassie picked a beautiful venue...The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery! I met up with Cassie as she was getting ready for the day. Her girlies were close by watching. She had help getting into her dress from her sisters and her mom. Cassie decide to do a first look with Ben in the vineyard. It was absolutely perfect! These were some of my favorite pictures of the day. After they took a few pictures together they headed back up to wait for the ceremony to start.
To start the ceremony out...they had each of their moms walk down their daughters. It was such a sweet moment! Ben's face when he watched his girlies walk down was the sweetest! Cassie was walked down the aisle by her Dad. She looked so beautiful...and yes I was behind the camera crying like a baby haha. The ceremony was full of love and laughs. I loved how Cassie threw her flowers up in the air when he announced they were husband and wife!
We took family pictures and bridal pictures directly after the wedding. Ben and Cassie picked out such beautiful colors for their flowers and bridal party. They were perfect colors for a June wedding! After pictures everyone headed inside for dinner. Shortly after dinner the dancing started. I loved how all the kiddos were dancing on the dance floor (including my daughter Gwendolyn!). They all were having such a blast!
I pulled Ben and Cassie back outside when the sun was just setting. These were my favorite pictures from the whole day. The light was SO beyond beautiful and the two of them together...magic!! What a great day it was for these two! I went a little crazy on this blog and even had to decide not to add any more! I could have added so many more that I loved. Enjoy all the pictures of their beautiful beautiful day!
I'm so happy for the two of you and your sweet girlies! I know you both will share many many happy years together!
Love you!

]]>The ceremony started and Jackie walked down the aisle with her Dad. She looked so beautiful! Marques would look over at his bride throughout the ceremony. He looked at her that way the whole day! It was so sweet! After the ceremony the whole bridal party went out to the front of the church for pictures. They were all laughing and having a blast. They definitely have a great group of friends! The whole bridal party then headed to a local bar in Broad Ripple to have a few drinks before heading to the reception. We had so much fun taking pictures there! They were some of my favorites from their day!
Their reception was at The Willows in Westfield. It is not far from the Broad Ripple area. The venue just opened a huge deck right outside of their reception room. It looked out to a pond and it was so gorgeous! Their guests enjoyed hanging out there after dinner. The toasts had many people tearing up (including myself haha). You can definitely tell these two are well loved and they truly love each other so much. After their first dances everyone headed to the dance floor! Everyone had a blast dancing together. It was such a great day! I'm so happy I got to be apart of their day! Enjoy the many favorites from the wedding and congrats again to Marques and Jackie!
I wish you both many many happy and fun years together!

]]>Alex and Lauren decided to see each other before their ceremony. It was a perfect first look! I love seeing how the couple reacts to seeing each other for the first time of the day! It is such a special moment! Alex had us cracking up about how she would dance in her dress haha. The pictures of the two of them were some of my very favorites! Lauren's flowers were stunning! They just fit the venue and day perfectly! After we took some pictures of the two of them and the bridal party...we waited for the ceremony to start. Their ceremony was outside. The weather couldn't have been better for it! At the end of their ceremony all their guests blew bubbles as the bride and groom walked down the aisle. Talk about some great pictures!! I loved it and so did everyone at the ceremony!
We took family pictures while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. It was a perfect evening to have everyone outside. When the couple entered their reception everyone cheered as they danced on to the dance floor. After dinner, the newly weds shared their first dance followed by the other special dances. Then the party really got started! There were so many people enjoying their time on the dance floor! It was such a fun and beautiful day! I am so glad I got to be apart of it! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Ollila! Enjoy looking through many amazing pictures from their wedding day!
I wish you both many many happy years together!

]]>Adam and his groomsmen were having a blast laughing and joking as they were getting ready. Amanda and Adam decided not to see each other before the ceremony. We got pictures of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and family before the ceremony started. During the ceremony they had both sets of parents come up to the alter while they held candles. It was one of my favorite parts of the day. After the ceremony we captured many family pictures.
After pictures the bridal party got to ride in a limo together. I met them at a park down the road. The wind got a little chilly for awhile there but everyone remained in good spirits haha. Adam and Amanda took some gorgeous pictures down by the pond. They were some of my favorites from the day! After pictures the bridal party enjoyed driving around in the limo before heading to the reception. When Adam and Amanda arrived at the reception we took a few more pictures around the reception hall. There was a magnolia tree close by that they took pictures in front of. It was perfect for their April wedding!
Once they all were introduced at the reception, Adam and Amanda shared their first dance before dinner. Adam made a slide show that featured many pictures of the two of them and many of them growing up. After dinner was the father/daughter dance and the mother/son dance. Then the night took off with people dancing right away. Everyone was having a blast! Their dance floor was packed! It was such a great day! I'm so happy to share many favorites from their day below. Enjoy!!
I wish you both wonderful years together! I hope you are enjoying that honeymoon in Africa!

The groomsmen were having a blast as well! Each time I went down to see if they were ready for pictures, they were laughing and enjoying some games in their room.
They reception and ceremony area was decorated beautifully! I loved the idea of giving each guest a Christmas tree ornament to take home after the reception! Amanda hand painted each one! They also had some small pine trees up by their ceremony arbor. The arbor was decorated with beautiful flowers! Their center pieces at the reception had the same flowers and lighted trees in the middle.
Michael and Amanda had such a heartfelt ceremony. They chose to write their own vows and both of them cried and laughed throughout. They also picked to put together a unity cross instead of doing unity candles. After they put the pieces together they spent time laughing and talking. Throughout the whole ceremony the sun was setting giving the outside a bluish glow. It was absolutely gorgeous!
After the ceremony we took pictures of the newly weds and their families. Michael and Mandi decided not to see each other before but we still made sure to get some pictures outside in the dark. I am SO glad we did! The city lights were perfect for pictures!
Their reception was a blast! Their guests enjoyed delicious donuts on a fantastic donut display! There were many laughs and tears during the reception too. Everyone was enjoying the dance floor! What a perfect December wedding it was! December is becoming one of my favorites times of the year for weddings! Enjoy the many many pictures from their wedding day!
I wish you both many many happy years together where ever life decides to take you!

]]>Rick and Alanna had a beautiful fall wedding on October 14th! They met in Missouri and live there now. Alanna wanted to have a hometown wedding in her hometown of Gas City, Indiana. They had the ceremony at a beautiful old Catholic church called Holy Family Catholic Church. They had their reception at the reception hall right next to the church. I loved how Alanna's family worked hard to decorate everything in beautiful fall flowers!
They enjoyed the day with close family and friends. Alanna had her sister (Shanna) and her two friends from childhood as her bridesmaids. Rick had his family members as his groomsmen. I loved that they had their family be such a big part in their day!
These two had a superhero cake! It was so unique. They talked about by being together they can do anything (like a superhero)! Their guests enjoyed delicious food and cake as they congratulated the new bride and groom! It was such a wonderful wedding day for these two! Here are many pictures from their day! Enjoy!!
Congrats to you two! I'm so happy I got to be apart of your beautiful day!! Enjoy married life and may you share many many happy years together!!

]]>It was a windy day! The wind kept taking her veil into the wind! We loved it! The wind also blew the ribbons on the flowers too. Who knew windy days could be perfect for pictures!
After that we took more pictures of the two of them (some of my favorites were by the weeping willow). We met up with their whole bridal party for pictures and lot of laughs. The colors they picked for this fall wedding were absolutely gorgeous! I loved how they colors looked on the golf course. There were a few trees in the background that showed some fall color.
Their ceremony took place on the deck of the country club. There were lights on the top of the deck which made for a romantic setting. Josh teared up when he saw his bride walking down the aisle! It was a beautiful moment from their day! I loved that they had both of their fathers speak during the ceremony. After their ceremony they had some time to just enjoy each other before entering the reception. I always love when my couples see each other before the ceremony for this reason. The whole day was about them!
Their reception was a blast! After dinner and the cake cutting, they brought out a bunch of candy for a candy bar! It was a hit for everyone! They reception was a blast! Their family and guests enjoyed drinks and dancing! It was so fun!
What a wonderful day it was and so beautiful! Enjoy many many favorites from their wedding below!
Josh and Alisia I am so thankful I got to share this day with you! It was so beautiful! Congrats to the both of you again and I wish you both many many happy years ahead!

]]>I headed over to their venue to capture a few pictures of the guys getting ready. Their venue was so unique and amazing! Gallery Forty-Two is close to the circle and is an art gallery. This venue fit TJ and Jonelle's personalities and their day perfectly! TJ and his father were finishing up putting on their jackets. Jo and TJ's dog got to be in some of their getting ready pictures and a couple of others! I loved it! They decided to see each other before the ceremony. TJ stood up on the balcony to see his bride for the first time. It was such a wonderful moment! We took pictures of the two of them and their bridal party before heading on the trolley to the ceremony.
The ceremony took place at North Central Church of Christ. Their ceremony was so sweet. I saw many family members and friends shedding a few tears throughout. They left the church to their guests blowing bubbles (my favorite!). After pictures, we were back on the trolley heading to the reception! Their bridal party was having a blast! It was so much fun!
We sent everyone inside so we could capture a few more of the bride and groom in front of the venue. These were some of my favorites of the whole day! When they entered the venue, they danced! Their guests (and me haha) LOVED it! What a wonderful day it was! Enjoy some favorites below!! And congrats again to Mr. and Mrs. Zancanaro!
Congrats to you two! I wish you many many happy years together!

After their ceremony their guests headed up to the red barn for cocktail hour. If you know anything about Traders Point Creamery, you know their food is amazing! They went all out on their cheese and fruit plate for cocktail hour! I added quite a few pictures just of the food. It was definitely worth sharing!
After cocktail hour, everyone went up to dinner in the Roost. It was set up so beautifully! I loved how the deck looked out to the whole farm. Everyone enjoyed a delicious sit down dinner. You could tell everyone was having a wonderful time! The guests all enjoyed a little dancing in the red barn until it was time to send off the bride and groom. It was such a great evening! Congrats to these two again and enjoy some favorites from the evening!
Congrats again to you two! I wish you many many happy years together!

]]>I headed to the museum to capture the groom and groomsmen getting ready. We took some pictures outside around the canal. I couldn't help but take so many pictures of their reception area. The room with the Indiana statue is just perfect! Emily did a wonderful job deciding on their center pieces. She wanted to use her aunt's books on the tables in her memory. It was a wonderful way to have her there and it was so beautiful. Emily got ready upstairs overlooking the venue. Her dress was just stunning!! She looked so beautiful in it!
They decided to have their ceremony at the top of the stairs overlooking the city and the canal. It was perfect! After the ceremony we took pictures outside around the ceremony area. The way Isaiah looked at his new bride was just so sweet. My favorite pictures of the day had to be of the two of them on the stairs overlooking the city!
They entered their reception to claps and cheers. They headed right over to cut into their gorgeous cake! When the DJ called for all married couples to come to the dance floor for the anniversary dance, there were few people still sitting. It had to be the biggest anniversary dance I have ever seen!
It was such a wonderful day and I am so happy I got to capture these pictures for them! Enjoy looking through some favorites from their wedding day!
Congrats again to you both and many many happy years together!

Delaney is friends with my good friend and second shooter, Elizabeth Simmons (you will see her in the bridal party). They met in the radiology program and both graduated from IU Kokomo back in May. Elizabeth told Delaney all about my photography. I met with Delaney and her mother shortly after. I felt like I already knew Delaney as soon as I met her. I knew it was going to be so much fun capturing her wedding day!
Trevor made the perfect arbor for the ceremony. It was gorgeous! When Delaney walked across the bridge with her father her veil flew to the side in the wind. It was a beautiful moment as she walked toward her groom. The kiss at the end was perfect.
After they cut the cake, these two made sure the cake went all over each other's faces! It was so funny! I loved capturing all the first dances after the cake cutting. These two can throw a party! Their guests danced and danced and danced! It was a blast for everyone! At the end of the night they left the reception to their guests holding sparklers. It was so fun!
Enjoy all these pictures...they say more than my words ever could! Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Hagan!
I wish you both many many more years of happiness together and with your sweet pup!

]]>These two had such a beautiful fall engagement session back in early November. The weather was perfect outside! They brought their adorable puppy (Howie) along for the session. He was a blast and posed nicely for pictures too haha! It made me excited for fall weather looking back through these (not hurrying summer along though)! I had trouble picking just a few from their session because I loved them all! Enjoy!
Watch for a blog post from their wedding day!

]]>When I got inside Meghan had on the cutest white robe that said Mrs. Knuckles on the back of it (you will see a few pictures of it in the blog). She was enjoying getting her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids. The guys were getting ready in the locker room across from the ladies. After they got ready we headed out to the golf course to take some fun pictures!
Meghan had a surprise from Ryan. He wrote her a note on the bottom of her shoe. It was so sweet! Once she got her shoes on, she started getting into her wedding dress. Her mom and sister were there helping but at one point all the bridesmaids were helping too! Everyone was laughing and having a good time helping her! Meghan picked such a gorgeous wedding dress! It had jewels and lace all over it and she looked stunning in it! Many tears were shed when Meghan saw her Dad for the first time in her dress.
Their ceremony took place across the lake on the golf course. It would have been a long walk so golf carts were used to transport their guests out to the ceremony site. A golf cart drove Meghan out there too but they covered the cart with a sheet so Ryan couldn't see her until she walked down the aisle. Ryan and Meghan are such a fun loving couple! There were many laughs throughout the day and during the ceremony. After they were announced as husband and wife we took pictures on the golf course. The ones on the golf cart are some of my favorites of the two of them! The reception was a blast! Their guests danced a ton! Enjoy many many pictures from their day. Once again I had to cut myself off from all the pictures I wanted to share!
I hope the two of you are enjoying that honeymoon! I am so glad I got to be apart of your day! You two are such a sweet couple and I wish you many many happy years together!

]]>Kyle made his way across the street from the hotel in front of Victory Field to wait to see Katie. I was so happy these two decided to do a first look. What an amazing one it was! Kyle grinned ear to ear when he saw her! The bridal party joined them shortly after for pictures. They all were having a blast!
Kyle and Katie's ceremony was at St. Mary's Catholic Church off of New Jersey Street in downtown Indianapolis. It was a beautiful old church with gorgeous tall ceilings and stained glass windows. It was a perfect place for their ceremony. Katie wore a long laced veil for her walk down the aisle. After the ceremony they went outside to a send-off of bubbles!
I have been to a lot of venues. I now have to say that the Biltwell Event Center is now one of my favorites! This room was huge! It was lined with windows and on one side it looked out to Lucas Oil Stadium. Their food was AMAZING! There was a buffet that included spaghetti, pulled pork, hamburgers, and chicken! The toasts to the bride and groom had everyone laughing. I loved hearing the story about Kyle and Katie's first date. The guests enjoyed cake and danced the night away. What a perfect evening spent in downtown Indianapolis! There are SO many amazing pictures to pick from but here are some of my favorites! Enjoy!!
I hope you two are enjoying the rest of your honeymoon and I wish you many amazing years together!

]]>They are getting married tomorrow! Their ceremony and reception is being held at Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville. It is such a beautiful golf course! I can't wait to capture their day! Enjoy some favorites from their engagement session back in July!
Seriously how adorable are those scrabble letters with the ring!? That was all Meghan's idea! I loved it!
Watch for a blog post about their wedding day sometime next week!!

]]>Let me say...Mustard Seed Gardens is one of my favorite venues. It sits off of 32 in Noblesville and features an old red barn and house. Everything about the grounds is perfect! Lauren showed me a picture of her dress back in October. I knew it was going to be stunning but it was even better in person. Her dress was perfect for her! Her flowers were peonies and they were beautiful!
Phoenix and Lauren decided not to see each other before their ceremony. Phoenix couldn't hold back his tears when he saw her walking down the aisle. Their family members couldn't hold back tears either (including myself and my second shooter)! It was such a beautiful moment.
After the ceremony the guests headed over to cocktail hour while we took pictures. When they entered the barn, everyone cheered! Their reception was full of dancing and fun! Their photo booth was amazing too! These pictures share so much more than my words can say so ENJOY!!
I wish you both many many years of happiness and I hope you are enjoying that honeymoon!

Hey Lauren...can't wait to see that wedding dress on you!! :) :)

]]>Molly has three sisters and Spencer has four brothers. I loved that they had them all be a part of the wedding party! It made for a fun day for everyone! Molly decided to do a reveal with her Dad before she walked down the aisle. They ended up being some of my favorite pictures I have ever captured on a wedding day.
The ceremony took place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Indianapolis. Spencer and Molly did not see each other before the ceremony. Molly shed some tears as she walked down the aisle to her groom. After the ceremony the bridal party loaded up into a trolley car to head to their reception at Woodland Country Club.
They decided on a band instead of a DJ and I loved it! The lead singer played the violin during some of the songs. They shared their first dance outside while their guests enjoyed drinks. All the guests headed inside to a beautiful room of chandeliers for dinner. The toasts were full of love and tears as their family members shared of their love of each other.
The day was too perfect to put into words so I am thankful I can share with pictures. Enjoy these from their wedding day.
I am not even joking...I had to cut myself off from all the pictures I wanted to keep sharing! Congrats to you both! I know you will share many happy years together!

]]>Christina's wedding dress fit her perfectly and she looked stunning in it! I loved how the sides of the dress were sheer. Corlin and Christina decided to see each other before the ceremony. I am so glad they did! They enjoyed a wonderful moment on the porch. Their ceremony was off to the side of the house in a white tent decorated with stars inside.
Later during the reception, they cut the cake. Christina was not a fan of the cake in the face. She went ahead and ate her cake right away without feeding her groom. Everyone was laughing! It was so funny! Her Italian side of the family gathered all of the guests for a dance. Everyone had a blast! It was such a wonderful day! Enjoy some pictures from their amazing wedding day!
What a perfect and fun day it was for you two! I wish you both many many happy years together!

]]>This Saturday I am starting off my wedding season capturing Corlin and Christina's wedding. Their wedding will be at The Ambassador House in Fishers, Indiana. I am so excited to finally shoot a wedding there! It is such a beautiful venue! I can't wait to share pictures on here from their day! Look for the blog post from their wedding day some time next week.
We decided to take their engagement pictures at the beautiful Coxhall Gardens in Carmel. It was a beautiful day for pictures! For being June it was great weather! Enjoy some favorite pictures I picked out!
I am excited to shoot their wedding day this Saturday, April 29th!

]]>I found out I was pregnant at the beginning of the year so you will soon see that pretty much all of these pictures are of me pregnant on the job! I will admit it was a lot of work but I am so thankful I was able to stay on my feet and capture all these weddings! Oh and let me just say...the HOTTEST summer EVER and I had to be pregnant during it haha! I thought this would be the best day to post this because it is Elizabeth's birthday!! Happy birthday!! Enjoy these behind the scenes of EG O'Connell Photography!
This is typical for me during the ceremony haha. I had quite a few people tell me I was crazy for getting down on the floor being so pregnant haha. I never let anything stop me from getting the best shots! ;)
Yes...sometimes Elizabeth and I creep on to the dance floor...this past year she did more dancing than I did. I wonder why haha! But seriously we have fun!
I'm sure you are realizing I like to wear the same outfits! Black is not my color so I don't buy a lot of it because I only wear it during weddings!
Test shot...I spy Elizabeth!
Getting the groom's first look of his bride!
Like I said...it was hot hahaha! Thanks Elizabeth for going above and beyond for me this past wedding season! I owe you this year ;)
When Elizabeth and I see our names for the table we get to sit at...we document it! Thank you to all our brides and grooms for taking such good care of us this year!
Thank you Bethany for helping with this wedding and capturing my big ole 29 week belly! And below...proof I do so so much more than just taking pictures during a wedding day! I love to help in any way I can!
Elizabeth loves to help too...she is great at it! :)
Got to love riding in the golf carts to take pictures haha! We had a blast at Eric and Lauren's wedding!
Elizabeth getting ready for the day with a big cup of coffee haha!
That belly though...36 weeks pregnant here!
Yep...still on the ground at 36 weeks...
So Elizabeth and I died laughing at this later on...she told me she couldn't get any side pictures without my belly being in the picture haha!
I shot AJ and Desi's wedding at 37 weeks pregnant! I ended up having my son, Griffyn at 40 weeks 1 day.
Griffyn was 6 weeks old when I shot Andrew and Cailynn's wedding. Everything went so smooth and I just LOVED this wedding at the Mill Top!
Elizabeth is great at fixing the dress for pictures!
Here she is again...
Dancing haha! She is the best!
What a great year it was! Hope you enjoyed seeing some more pictures of us during these weddings. We do our best to make sure your wedding goes as smoothly and as fun as possible!

I went the whole wedding season pregnant! I ended up shooting the same amount of weddings as last year...14 but I had many beautiful and VERY unique weddings that I was thrilled to capture!! I am so excited to share all these pictures with you. To my brides and grooms this past year...I consider you all friends now! I enjoyed every moment of capturing your memories! I wrote out what I remember most from each of your wedding days (a view from my eyes!). I tried to share some different types of pictures for each wedding but I am still a sucker for bride and groom pictures so you will see a lot of those too! This was a blast to go back through each day! Thank you to my main second shooter and great friend Elizabeth Simmons for helping second shooter a majority of these weddings!

Andrew and Becky had such a fun bridal party! They had everyone wearing flamingo shoes...so so much fun! The other part of their day that stands out in my mind is their first look with each other in the church. It brought tears to my eyes when Andrew saw Becky for the first time. I also got tears when Becky's father Ken saw her too, I know Ken well because he is my neighbor! It was an amazing wedding to start out the wedding season!

The morning of this wedding the forecast called for rain allllll day. Determined that we were going to get these two outside for some pictures, I went and bought 10 umbrellas that morning! When we were all ready to take pictures the rain stopped and we didn't need a single umbrella for the pictures. I could go on and on about how GREEN the plants were outside! Coty and Olga have the sweetest little boy. Some of my favorite moments of the day were with him! Should I mention that April has a huge place in my heart because that was the month my daughter was born in!? It is so beautiful outside at the end of April with all flowers and green grass!

Michael and Holly got married at a small little catholic church surrounded by their close family and friends. Then all of their family headed back to their house for a backyard set up reception. The set up was so cute and man was the food good!! I loved that these two wanted their day to be intimate/small. Their sweet doggie even got to enjoy the day!

It was hot. How do I remember this!? Well being pregnant during the summer...you remember these things very clearly haha. We made pictures go extra quickly outside around the church and it was a beautiful area. The church they got married in was incredible. Those stained glass windows were stunning! Can I just say...I loved these two so much! They are both so down to Earth and fun! It made for such an enjoyable day for everyone! Oh and that dress...GORGEOUS! Lindsay's veil went the length of her train!

I drove by the Montage all the time when I lived over in the Castleton area so I got really excited when Brandon and Jessica said that they would be getting married there! There's nothing I love more than working at new venues! Jessica and Brandon both lost a parent. Brandon lost his father and Jessica lost her mother. There were so many tears throughout the day. I know they were there in spirit! They had such a fun group of people at their wedding! People were dancing the night away! I laughed a lot during their day and also shed quite a few tears (yes photographers get emotional on wedding days too...especially pregnant ones ha!)

Let me just start out by saying these two are an absolute beautiful couple inside and out! They have been together 11 years since they were 11 years old! I mean what couple can say that!? When I found out where their ceremony was going to be...I had to laugh! It is literally down the street from my house and my daughter now goes to pre-school there! I could go on and on about this day! The day was spent around Allison's aunt's pool and Morse Reservoir in Noblesville! It was SO much fun and made for some amazing pictures! The day could have been extremely hot but was perfect in the mid 70s! Their pictures around the fountain at The Ritz were also some of my favorites from the wedding season!

Josh and Kayla got married in a big church on a Friday evening. They had such a BEAUTIFUL sunset for their pictures. They were some of my favorite pictures from the whole wedding season! Kayla wore blog Toms under her wedding dress. I LOVED them and I'm sure her feet were nice and comfy all day! They had many handmade decorations around their ceremony and reception area. You can tell these two will have many many amazing years together because they fit so well together! Thank you to Bethany Peterson of Bethany Peterson Photography for helping me shoot this wedding!

My husband and I are blessed to have such amazing neighbors that live around us! I was able to capture TWO weddings this past year of my neighbors' daughters! I mean how fun is that!? When I heard about Kari's wedding I got really excited! Brandon and Kari live across the street from a beautiful cemetery that sits right on the White River. They decided this was where they wanted their ceremony to take place. I am all about new and unique weddings!! They decided to keep it intimate where only the officiant and me would witness their vows. The place where the vows happened was drenched in sunlight...absolutely breathtaking! They had friends and family at their house for a reception! It was a blast!! Oh and Kari's dress...fit her perfectly! She looked beautiful!

Blog from their day: http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2016/8/mr-and-mrs-eric-and-lauren-gregory-august-13-2016
This past year had some very weird weather but let's be honest...Indiana is known for weird weather! Who would have thought the middle of August it would be raining!? BUT, Lauren choose gray dresses for her bridesmaid and they couldn't have been a better choice! The gray skies with the dresses made for AMAZING pictures! I had a wonderful time with these two! They are so fun together and such a perfect match! I will forever remember Lauren's father's speech because it reminded me of my Dad. He talked about how Lauren always called him when she needed help with something (such as her car). He then gave out a new number and told her how she has a new man to turn to for help. My second shooter, Elizabeth and I were crying...so so good and the reason I LOVE this job so much!
Mr. and Mrs. Kurt and Alesha Roubal

Mustard Seed Gardens Noblesville, IN
Blog of their day: http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2016/9/mr-and-mrs-kurt-and-alesha-roubal-august-27-2016
I have lived in Noblesville coming up on 5 years (I can't believe it's been that long!). I drove past Mustard Seed Gardens a million times. I constantly told friends and family that I wanted to shoot a wedding there more than anything. Most of you that are close to me know that I have a dream to open up a barn venue to host weddings. My husband and I talk about it quite often and I have no doubt later in our lives that we will make it happen! Anyway...MSG is one of the most beautiful barn venues in Indiana! The old Victorian house next to the barn is perfect for getting ready in! I cannot say enough great things about this whole day. Kurt and Alesha decided to see each other before the ceremony so we got many many beautiful pictures throughout the venue! These two had quite the party...for it being a small amount of people, they danced the night away! This wedding will be one I will always remember!
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Desi Garrard

Arborwood Frankfort, IN
Blog of their day: http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2016/9/mr-and-mrs-anthony-and-desi-garrard-september-3-2016
I've known Desi since I was 16 so this whole day was special to me. I already had her day booked when I found out I was pregnant. I let her know that more than likely I would not be having the baby before her day because I had my daughter a week late ha! It was a risk but I told her I wanted to be there! So at 37 weeks pregnant, I still showed up and captured this perfect day (and my ankles weren't even swollen afterward!)
AJ and Desi decided to see each other before the ceremony and I am so glad they did. It was such a beautiful moment! In fact the whole day was just beautiful. They made sure to have all three of their kiddos a part of the day. It made it so special. When Desi was dancing with her father during the father daughter dance...AJ came up with their two girls to dance along side of them. Talk about lots of tears for everyone and of course myself included! I will always remember that moment from their day!

Let me just say that I am completely blessed to live in a town that has so many amazing venues! This was my 6th wedding of the year that took place right here in Noblesville at the amazing Mill Top downtown. When I booked Andrew and Cailynn's wedding I once again did not know that I was going to have a baby ha! I let them know when we did their engagement session. My son was 6 weeks when I shot this wedding! It was a 12 hour day but everything went so smooth and my little guy had a great day with his Daddy! This wedding was definitely one of my favorites from the year! The colors they picked were gorgeous!! OH can we please check out that cake and display! BEST CAKE EVER!! I loved this wedding so so much and love these two! I will forever remember this day...what a perfect day it was!

Blog from their day: http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2016/12/mr-and-mrs-keith-and-bernadette-bricker-december-10-2016
I hadn't shot a Christmas wedding so I got so excited when Bernadette and Keith booked me for their day (mind you I have known Bernadette for years and years!) Their day was totally them! You will see in the picture below that Keith made sure to add in his touch to the day! It was so fun! I loved that Bernadette wore her mom's veil. I know that made for extra special memories for their family. They didn't have to do any decorating in the church because it is always that beautiful around Christmas time. Toward the end of the night it started snowing!! I cannot even begin to talk about how perfect that snow fall was for their Christmas wedding. My second shooter, Elizabeth and I were in LOVE!
Mr. and Mrs. Josh and Ashley Cousino

Blog post from their day: http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2017/1/mr-and-mrs-josh-and-ashley-cousino-nye-december-31-2016
These two live in the Indianapolis area but decided to have a wedding in Fort Wayne. I know Fort Wayne fairly well because my husband's family lives up there and knew exactly where Bake Street Station was because Chris and I toured it as a possible wedding venue. Josh and Ashley picked a perfect evening to get married. It was in the high 40s which allowed for some great pictures outside. Ashley wore a fur coat over her dress...I was in LOVE! Their family and friends stuck around to the end of the reception because of the ball drop which the DJ showed on the projector. Then Josh and Ashley shared their first kiss of the new year, married. It was a great time! I loved shooting my first NYE wedding!! Thank you to Kristen Mittlestedt Photography for helping second shoot this wedding!
What a fantastic year! Thank you to all my brides and grooms!

Josh and Ashley set their ceremony at a small little Catholic church in Arcola (St. Patrick church of Arcola). It is right outside of Fort Wayne. Their venue was at Baker Street Station which is an old train station downtown Fort Wayne. I knew it well because my husband and I toured it as a possible venue when we were planning our wedding! I knew it would be a fantastic place to ring in 2017!
With it being the end of December, we all knew it could possibly be very cold. The day ended up with a high of 40 degrees which made pictures outside doable! Josh and Ashley decided to see each other before the ceremony so it enabled enough light to get some pictures outside downtown Fort Wayne. My father-in-law suggested the Grand Wayne Convention Center which made for amazing pictures! We got to get a few in front of their venue too! I typically don't ride in the limos during the wedding day but I got to tag along for this one! It was so much fun and their wedding party had a blast!
Their ceremony started at 6:30. I could go on and on about how beautiful the church was decorated. The poinsettias and Christmas trees filled the room! Ashley made beautiful vases with twinkle lights and ornaments that were located along the aisle. Speaking of what Ashley made...she also made all the bouquets (which were beautiful!) and each table at their reception had a different love story on it. Some of the love stories included Beauty and the Beast, Friends, Star Wars, and The Notebook. It was so unique and perfect!
The best part about having a NYE wedding is that all the guests stuck around until the end...dancing the night away! Everyone enjoyed breakfast for dinner and donuts! Then everyone gathered around to watch the ball drop with champagne in hand! Josh and Ashley had their first kiss of 2017...married! What a perfect wedding it was! Enjoy looking through all these memories from their wedding day!
Keith and Bernadette beat the odds when they first started dating. Shortly after they met, Bernadette headed to Ireland for student teaching. But like Catherine (Bernadette's sister) said during her speech...he was persistent! If you meet these two, you will be amazed at how they found each other because they are such a perfect fit! From their love of Christmas (hints the Christmas wedding) even down to their glasses ;)
I started the day walking into St. Matthew United Methodist Church in my hometown of Frankfort, Indiana. This church is so beautiful and perfect for a wedding! The church always decorates so beautifully for Christmas! Bernadette got ready at her parent's house. The bridesmaids were filling the house with laughter when I arrived. Her dress was completely what I pictured her wearing! It fit her to a T! She decided to wear her mom's wedding veil. I loved that she did that! The groom had this own unique idea to have all his groomsmen wear matching super hero shirts and socks! Their day was full of rustic Christmas decorations.
The part of their day that I will remember the most is the snow! What a perfect ending to a perfect day. I can't wait to share all these pictures from their day! I'm SO blessed I got to be a part of their day! Now go take a winter wonderland walk through their perfect day!
I am beyond excited for you two! Bernadette you were such a beautiful bride! I wish you guys all the best in the many many years to come!!
<3 Emily
]]>I got to follow them throughout the year on Facebook. Cailynn got to teach in Costa Rica! Then they both made the move to California! They wanted to keep their wedding in Indiana where most of their family lives.
When I showed up at the venue Cailynn and her bridesmaids were having a great time getting ready. They were wearing adorable robes that Cailynn had bought for them. Cailynn made sure to have all of her sisters and her little brother (you will see quite a few pictures of him in this blog) in the wedding party and that made the day extra fun for everyone!
Andrew and Cailynn decided it would be best to see each other before the ceremony. I am SO glad they did. Andrew couldn't hold back tears as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time. And she was an absolutely stunning bride! Cailynn's dress was just meant for her to wear. It was gorgeous! The two of them enjoyed these first moments before the craziness of the day started.
Their ceremony and reception was in one big room upstairs. They shed tears together and also lots of laugher during their ceremony. My favorite capture was of Cailynn's little brother during the prayer...such a powerful moment! After the ceremony their guests went down stairs for a cocktail hour. They enjoyed the time with the sound of the piano in the background.
Let me just say that their cake was one of the best cakes I have ever laid my eyes on!! I mean...WOW!! Andrew and Cailynn along with their guests partied way into the night. It was so fun to see all of their guests dancing and enjoying themselves! If there was one thing I noticed the most about their day it was the love of family. You could tell just how loved Andrew and Cailynn are and how much they love their family. The day was just perfect even down to the 65 degree weather for the start of November! I am so excited to share all these images from their day. I hope you enjoy looking through these special moments.
I know you two have a lot of great adventures to come! I'm so happy I got to share this beautiful day with you! I wish you both many many years of happiness together!

AJ and Desi have already started a beautiful life together! They have three children (Londyn, Addilyn, and Lincoln), a house, and a new cute little puppy! They have always wanted to tie the knot and finally did with their family and friends. I can go on and on about how perfect and beautiful their wedding day was! It was a gorgeous sunny 80 degree day. They had their ceremony outside at Arborwood in Frankfort, Indiana. Their reception followed inside with glowing table decorations with their wedding color of purple.
When I got to Arborwood to start taking pictures of the bride and the bridesmaid getting ready, Desi was extremely calm and laid back. Her dress was one I totally pictured her wearing. She looked absolutely STUNNING! AJ had her tearing up early in the day. He wrote her a letter and gave her a book he made of their text messages to each other. It was so sweet!
They decided to see each other before the ceremony and I am SO glad they did because we got so many amazing pictures! They made sure to include all of their kiddos in the ceremony. You will see many gorgeous pictures of them. They have a BEAUTIFUL family! Addilyn did her best to make it into the most pictures including many during the actual ceremony ha!
They ended their day enjoying their family and friends with drinks and dancing! I have been so excited to share this blog post! Enjoy all the pictures that follow...and as usual there are a ton! :)
I am SO happy for the two of you! You have such a beautiful family and I know you two have many many amazing years ahead. Love you guys!

Now let me just say...when I met these two they discussed their ceremony and venue site. They said it would be at Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville. I have drove by the MSG so many times and so many times I have said I wanted to shoot a wedding there! When Kurt and Alesha asked me to be their photographer I may have cried with joy haha! I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! I can't wait for you to look through these pictures. I enjoyed their day so so much!
Kurt and Alesha decided they wanted to see each other before the ceremony and I am so happy they did! We had so much time to just enjoy taking pictures. We got so many amazing shots. Their first look was under an old tree and it was beautiful. These two were at ease the rest of the day. They really got to enjoy each other and their bridal party as well! During the ceremony Kurt and Alesha did something that I loved! Instead of doing the traditional lighting of the unity candle or the unity sand they placed letters they wrote to each other and a bottle of wine into a box. They then closed the box. It will sit until they go through a very hard time together or they can open it on an anniversary of their choice. It was such a beautiful idea for their marriage.
They had around 100 guests at their wedding and they all danced well into the night! My second shooter and I both agreed it was one of the best dance floors! You could just tell how much Kurt and Alesha meant to everyone who was there. Everyone enjoyed spending the day celebrating with the new Mr. and Mrs. Roubal! I'm beyond excited to share these pictures with you! ENJOY!! :)
I mean how perfect and beautiful is this first look!?
Kurt was cracking us all up with his ideas for pictures. Alesha "the superhero" explodes her bridal party with her super powers! I loved this! It was so so much fun to capture!
Thanks for thinking of great picture ideas, Kurt!
What a beautiful and fun day it was for you both! I wish you many many joyful and happy years together!

There was a 90% chance of storms on their wedding day (who would have thought in the middle of August!?). Rain on your wedding day is good luck after all! I told them we would work around it to get the pictures they wanted! It all ended up working out well! I LOVED how the pictures of the bridesmaids and the groomsmen on the golf course turned out thanks to the cloudy skies. The sky ended up matching the bridesmaid's dresses. It made for great pictures!
Eric and Lauren decided not to see each other before the ceremony. They decided to hide behind a corner to hold hands as they prayed over each other and their special day. It was such a touching moment and I know it helped calm their nerves. The ceremony was perfect. The pastor shared a lot of details about how the couple met and got engaged. It was a nice touch to the ceremony. The couple ended up doing a little send off outside with bubbles after the ceremony and it was fun for everyone!
Eric and Lauren had some Butler University charm throughout their day. You will see the details they added in the pictures below. My favorite was a cookie of the Butler Bulldog that they gave as a thank you to each guest. It was so cute! I know the whole room got a bit watery eyed during Lauren's Dad's speech. He talked about how Lauren would call him on the phone whenever she needed help. He then went on to share the new number she can call for help and it was Eric's.
They ended the evening with a lot of dancing with their friends and family! It was such a perfect day! Enjoy the pictures below! :)
What a beautiful day it was! I am so glad I got to be apart of it. I wish you both many blessed years together!

]]>Their engagement session was one of my favorites to date! They wanted to incorporate their families' properties out in the country. I LOVED how they turned out. You can see more from their engagement session here http://www.egoconnellphoto.com/blog/2016/4/josh-and-kayla-engagement-session.
Josh and Kayla decided to have their wedding on a Friday evening. The ceremony started at 6:30 at Brookville Road Community Church in New Palestine, IN. All of the girls had a great time getting their hair and make-up done. They all had matching shirts and it made for the cutest picture! Kayla also had hangers for her wedding dress and the bridesmaids' dresses. It was a great way to make sure everyone kept track of their dress! Josh and Kayla decided not to see each other before the ceremony. Josh's face lit up as Kayla walked down the aisle with her dad. After getting introduced at their reception we all went outside for pictures. We could not have asked for a more beautiful evening. The clouds parted just in time for pictures and the light shining through was gorgeous! Josh and Kayla's pictures were perfect. It started to sprinkle right after we finished with the last picture...PERFECT timing.
I loved their theme of "To the moon and back". Which was all around throughout the day! They finished off their wedding day with lots of dancing with family and friends. What a great day it was! Enjoy all the pictures from their special day! :)
I wish you both many many amazing married years together!

]]>Wade and Allison started their day at two different houses on Morse Reservoir in Noblesville. Allison and her girls had adorable robes on with their names engraved on them (as you can see in the first picture below). Allison had the day planned out perfect, and it allowed for extra time for them to enjoy getting ready and hanging by the pool! We had a blast getting those pictures! It was soon time for Allison to get her dress on. With the help from her mom and sister, she walked out of the bathroom to join her other bridesmaids. They were all in love with how she looked!! The dress was one of a kind. It had so many little details to it and Allison looked absolutely STUNNING in it! You will see Wade's little sister, Emme, in these pictures. She was the flower girl and looked so sweet with her little flower crown. Wade and his groomsmen were out by the lake when we got there. They were all laid back for their pictures. It was the weekend before the 4th of July so the lake was busy with boats. People made sure to drive by and honk to congratulate the groom!
The ceremony took place at Noblesville First United Methodist Church. The inside was beautiful! It had tall ceilings and stained glass windows. Allison and Wade decided not to see each other before the ceremony but they did hold hands behind a door. It made for super cute pictures. Everyone couldn't wait for them to see each other down! During the ceremony Wade and Allison said their own vows to each other. They were so sweet and well written. They also prayed together as well. They left the church with a bubble send off!
Their reception was at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. This is one of my favorite venues to take pictures at! They made sure to leave plenty of time for pictures at the Ritz and they are gorgeous! The reception was full of fun and dancing. It was such a great day!
Enjoy the MANY pictures to follow!!
What a beautiful wedding day you two had! I wish you both many many happy years together!!

]]>Brandon and Jessica have a long history together. They have been together 9 years now. I loved how they made a table of their favorite pictures throughout the years. Their vows were a wonderful display of how much they love each other. These two were completely meant to be!
Jessica and Brandon each lost a parent. They were present in so many moments throughout the day. Jessica had pictures of her mother on her flowers. They lit a candle in their parents' memory during the ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye when Jessica saw her father for the first time. It was such a touching moment for them.
Brandon and Jessica have so many amazing friends and it made for a fun day! They all had matching sunglasses for pictures and they ended up being a favorite of the day! Every one of Jessica's bridesmaids stood up and gave a speech about their friendship with Jessica. What a strong bond she has with each of them. They all enjoyed the day and danced the night away.
Enjoy the pictures from their perfect day!
Brandon and Jessica you had a beautiful day! I am so happy I got to capture these memories for you! I wish you both many many more years of happiness together!

]]>The day of the wedding I walked into a laid back room of ladies at Bradley United Methodist Church in Greenfield, Indiana. The church was built in 1867 and features one of the most exquisite sanctuaries I have ever stepped foot in. It has bright stained glass windows that fill the walls of the church. As you will see in the pictures that follow, I made sure to incorporate them in some of the pictures.
Lindsay and Andrew decided not to see each other before the ceremony. Andrew's face lit up when he saw his bride walking down the aisle! Their ceremony included a moment of communion together and all of their immediate family members praying over them.
With the temperatures reaching 95+ degrees that day (hottest day of the year so far) we made sure to keep the outside pictures moving quickly. They enjoyed every moment spent together and it made for BEAUTIFUL pictures. And Lindsay's dress...WOW! She looked STUNNING! We got to the reception hall and it was a packed house! Everyone was so excited for the couple and there was a ton of dancing! It was a great time! I am so happy for these two and it was such a perfect day! This blog post features the most pictures I have ever put into a blog, and it was incredibly hard not to share them all! Enjoy!!
Lindsay's veil was as long as her train and absolutely the most beautiful one I have ever seen!
Lindsay had one picture she wanted during the ceremony and this was it! Thank you to my AMAZING second shooter Elizabeth Simmons of Elizabeth Simmons Photography
for sneaking up behind them to capture this beautiful moment!
What a beautiful day you two had! I am so happy I got to share it with you. I wish you both all the best in the coming years at school and growing with each other in your marriage.
God Bless!

]]>Michael and Holly had a small ceremony at the catholic church down the road from their house. It was so laid back but still traditional. Holly wore a beautiful wedding dress with a detailed top and veil. She looked beautiful in the dress! The ceremony was short but perfect. With it being a small wedding, we were able to get a lot of family pictures done quickly so everyone could head to the house for the reception!
On the day of their wedding it was supposed to be nice out with no rain...which was good considering their reception was in the backyard. It started raining off and on during the morning. We were all praying that the rain would move on. After the ceremony, we walked outside to a sunny afternoon! We were all so happy!
Their backyard was just adorable place for their reception! They had beautiful flowers displayed on the tables and a cute little cake! It was such a perfect day! Enjoy these memories of the day!
I'm so happy I got to capture these memories for the two of you! I wish you many many years of happiness together!

]]>I woke up on the morning of Coty and Olga's wedding day only to see rain...a lot of rain. I knew I had to have a back up incase the rain didn't stop for outside pictures. I went to get some cute umbrellas and headed toward Harbor Trees Golf Club in Noblesville. Even with a very rainy day, Olga was in great spirits! She was getting the last of her make-up on and looked absolutely beautiful even without her dress on! We took a few pictures and headed to get some pictures of the guys getting ready at Olga's parent's house. The guys were full of laughs and it made for some fun pictures.
When we got back, Olga put on her dress. It fit her perfectly! Little Matthew came in the room to see his Momma and gave her a kiss. It was the sweetest! After the ceremony ended, we went to check how rainy it was outside. Much to our surprise...the rain had stopped!! Good ole Indiana weather came through for us! Everything outside was so green! It made for a perfect spring background for all their pictures!
The reception was a complete blast! There were so many people out on the dance floor. It made for a great ending to a great day!
You will see little Matthew make his appearance in quite a few of these pictures. He looked so cute in his little tux!! Enjoy the Jackson's wedding day through these pictures!
I'm so happy I got to be a part of this little family's wedding day! I wish you all many years of happiness together!

]]>I was there the night Becky and Andrew first met! I mean...how many photographers can say that about the bride and groom!? It was the Fourth of July (two years ago this July) and my neighbors were having their annual party. Becky's parents were there so she stopped by to say hello. Andrew came with his friend Brandon (and best man of the wedding) and the rest was history! Sadly, I was not at the party a year later because that was when Andrew decided to propose to Becky!! That story was just too fun not to share and I was SO excited when they asked me to be their photographer.
These two were completely meant to be. You could see the joy and love on their faces throughout the whole day! There were also very many tears during the ceremony as well. The day started out with Becky and her bridesmaids getting ready at her apartment. It was a beautiful morning! The day called for 75+ degrees and a lot of sun (a bit unusual for April in Indiana). Their ceremony took place at Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville and their reception was at Britton Banquet Hall in Fishers. The bridal party wore green shoes with flamingos in them. They had such a fun bridal party and the shoes just added to the fun! Well enough talk about the day...enjoy the story of the wedding day through these pictures!
I am so blessed to be apart of your perfect day! I know you two will spend a lot years with travels and adventures together! I wish you both many many years of happiness together. You guys are the best!!

I just couldn't help myself...Keith and Bernadette's Christmas time engagement session was so so cute I just wanted to share some favorites in a blog post. I can't wait for their Christmas wedding this December! Enjoy! :)
Chad and Kylee have a beautiful little girl, Zoey. You will see her throughout these pictures (starting with the one below this). She was so so good throughout the day and Chad and Kylee are such good parents! They even decided to on a family honeymoon with Zoey to Florida instead of a honeymoon with just the two of them. :)
Chad and Kylee got married in a beautiful Catholic church in Lafayette. The stained glass windows and the painted saints throughout the room were stunning! Their reception was in a barn in Flora which featured twinkled lights throughout. They had a naked cake made by a family member and the first one I took pictures of at a wedding. It was definitely a cake to remember and tasted amazing! Their day was perfect in every way! Enjoy the many pictures below!
I wish you the three of you many many years of happiness together!

They decided on an October date to get married. I LOVE shooting October weddings. The colors are always beautiful and the weather isn't too bad either! The weather was absolutely perfect the day of the wedding. It wasn't too hot or too cold. Carmen's bouquet was one to mention! She went with a local hometown florist who has done flowers for a few of my weddings. She did NOT disappoint with any of the flowers but the bouquet was one of the biggest and best I have ever seen! You will get to see it in many pictures below! David and Carmen decided to see each other before the ceremony which made picture taking amazing! We got all the pictures done before the ceremony so we went straight to the reception after the ceremony. Carmen has a very close family and a family member very dear to them started fighting cancer. I wanted to add some of those pictures on here for their family to give them some encouragement and ask people who read this to please say a prayer for her. I am sending hugs to all of you through this post! I hope you all enjoy these pictures! There will be many more to come!
I wish you both all the best! I know many many years are ahead!

I met up with Haley and Austin for their engagement session in downtown Noblesville. I loved how they interacted together. They were making each other laugh and you could tell Haley was Austin's whole world <3! They met in college and moved to Noblesville just down the road from Haley's parents!
A little bit about their gorgeous fall wedding day...they decided to see each other before the ceremony. I am SO glad they did. The pictures we got are amazing! Haley's wedding dress was one of a kind and she looked absolutely STUNNING in it! Her flowers had parts of her mom's wedding dress on it. There are some pictures below of it! The wedding party was tons of fun! They had me laughing throughout the day. I loved the colors they picked for the bridesmaid's dresses! It brought out the pops of the fall trees in the background. At each table at the reception, there were pictures of them as children which I thought was so fun for their guests to look at. I would say one of my favorite parts of their day was when both of their families danced together to, "We are Family!" It was SO much fun to watch! The whole room went crazy! Well enough talk about their day (as I always say ha!)! ENJOY all these memories from their special day (P.S. I went a little crazy as usual with the amount of pictures...please continue to scroll haha!).
I am so so happy for the two of you! I know you will have amazing memories together as the years go on. I wish you many many happy years together!

]]>I woke up the day of their wedding to a rainy morning (rain is a good luck thing for them I have decided ;) ). I knew Hattie and Chris were dead set on having pictures taken outside at Camp Cullom so I prayed the rain would move on by the time we got ready to head out there. I met them at the hotel and got some great pictures of Hattie getting ready. It still was raining and raining while we drove out to Camp Cullom. When we got there the rain cleared and the skies broke open to beautiful blue skies! It was amazing! Chris and Hattie decided to see each other before the ceremony at Camp Cullom. It allowed them so much time to enjoy the day and each other! Their wedding party was a blast and we had many laughs during their pictures.
Their ceremony took place at a little church in Mulberry, Indiana. Hattie made sure not to miss a single detail throughout the day. My favorite detail...a picture of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents and the years they had been married. I loved that! Well enough writing...enjoy all the details of their perfect day! :)
I'm so so happy for you two! I know you will have many amazing years enjoying each other, family, and your close friends! I wish you both all the best!!
